Customer Reviews
Highly recommend this shop. My barber was Richie and he basically gave exactly what I asked for. He will ask for your feedback throughout the cut and listens if you feel something is off. Also he’s super nice and will recommend you products to use. Exceeded my expectations and I would definitely go back.
DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DYED HERE! Okay to start, it wouldn't be fair to not mention that Tommy gives great haircuts, and is a wonderful person. However, he told me that he had lots of experience dying hair, which was clearly not true. He ended up destroying my hair right before a long vacation, costing me $300 to repair the damage that he caused. Even now, it still looks much worse than it ever has, and it's going to take months and a lot more money for me to be happy with the horrible job he did. Ladies - do NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.
Tommy is a great barber and an awesome person to get to know. I came in with a buddy of mine with no plan but to cut my long hair. I assumed a buzz cut, but was noncommittal to that style. My buddy casually mentioned the idea that I could donate my hair to locks of love, and that idea immediately made parting ways with my hair much easier. Tommy, the owner of Barbershop on Vermont overheard the idea and enthusiastically shared how simple the process was to donate, and could help cut my hair in such a way that it could easily be donated. We now had a good plan. As Tommy starts to cut my hair he kindly offers an alternative to my uncreative plan to get a buzz cut, mentioning he has something in mind that will work well for my face shape (and receding hair line). I put my faith in Tommy an
Tommy is the best barber in Los Angeles. He has given me amazing haircuts at an affordable price. His skill and level of care is unmatched. The shop is clean, welcoming, and familial. As soon as you walk in everyone greets you and treats you as a priority. Best barbershop.
Found this barber shop around the corner from my house and I am beyond impressed. Brought my boys to get a hair cut where we met Tommy and what can I say he took his time asking us questions on how the boys wanted their hair cuts. He went into details and showed us some pictures of what would look good on them and then he did his magic. The boys loved their hair cut and we also got some stories a few jokes and some life lessons first time getting this kind of treatment the boys loved the stories and can't wait to come back. Thank you Tommy you are the best 👌
