I had such a fantastic experience at Barberino’s in New York. I originally walked in planning to spend about 30 minutes or so, and ended up staying for an hour and a half without even noticing the time. From the moment I entered, it truly felt like stepping into Italy right on Madison Avenue. I was offered an espresso coffee, had a warm and genuine conversation, and even had the pleasure of listening to Ornella Vanoni and Lucio Dalla while getting my haircut. It was not just a haircut, it was an experience. Pietro was my barber and he was exceptional. He worked entirely with scissors, old-school style, with incredible precision and care. He immediately understands what you want and gives great advice on the haircut that best fits your face and personal style. Disappointed. Prior barber wasn’t on the schedule so I went to Francesco based on excellent reviews. It might be the language difficultly but he did not listen to me at all cutting the hair too short and too fast and not saying anything when I said that I didn’t like it . When spending $95 for a haircut , I expect much more than a 10 minute haircut . He really just tried to get me off the chair in 10 minutes as there was another client booked for the same time. Not what I expected from Barberino and will not come to this barber and might not renew my package

Barberino is an outstanding shop. The barbers are highly skilled and consistent. I think they offer the perfect environment, services, and the multi-cut packages are an excellent value.

I had the pleasure of visiting Barberino’s in New York today, and I was fortunate enough to have Luigi take care of my haircut and beard. I can confidently say it was one of the best grooming experiences I’ve ever had. Luigi is incredibly skilled, attentive to detail, and has a great sense of style. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond expectations. The atmosphere at Barberino’s is classy and welcoming, and Luigi’s professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back!
