On November 20, 2025, I treated myself to a spa day—my first. I chose the Bliss Package which was 4 hours long and consisted of a massage, facial, pedicure and manicure in that order for $425. I have had over a dozen massages, but the others were my first. I had 2 providers: Lina who did the massage and facial and Melissa who did the pedicure and manicure. I found the massage very disappointing. I asked for a relaxation massage and instead Lina was rough despite my asking her to use less pressure several times. I almost choked having to inhale the massage oil fumes 3 times. Maybe I should have chosen lavender oil. I honestly couldn’t wait for the massage to end. It was something to be endured. As a birthday gift, my family reserved a massage appointment for me at the Avenue Apothecary & Spa, and I had the pleasure of working with Dawn. She was absolutely amazing—professional, attentive, and very skilled. She quickly identified my pain points and worked them out with care, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Dawn was also warm and friendly, which made the entire experience even better. She truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for both relaxation and effective treatment.

When you sign up for a massage, you should let them know if you have been popping Advil like candy all week because your body hurts. If you think you MIGHT bruise easily, you should tell them that. You should take the medical form seriously. If you don’t, you may walk away pretty bruised up. That picture is my arm after my massage. Communication is key. I still rate them 5 stars. I had a huge knot right there and she was trying to work it out. I never felt any pain at all. I was honestly shocked that I bruised up like that. Anyway, the rest of my body felt great after she was done. My lower back was killing me when I came in and when she was done, it didn’t bother me the rest of my trip. I had a massage with Abigail today and it was divine! From the moment I arrived, she created a calming, welcoming space. Her technique was absolutely incredible—just the right balance of relaxation and therapeutic care. I left feeling completely renewed. If you're looking for someone who truly knows how to melt away stress and tension, Abigail is your person. Highly recommend!
