CURLY GIRLS BE WARNED! Unfortunately I had a really bad experience. 😩 Everything that could have gone wrong with curly hair did: full brush out, cut while wet, couldn't style it afterwards. At one point, she didn't like how a curl was laying and instead of rewetting and trying again she just....CUT THE WHOLE THING OFF. Layers are not blended. My bangs are wack. And at one point the stylist said it looked funky. She is not wrong...but she is the one that is supposed to fix it! I can't even wear my hear down & curly now. The stylist, ultimately, had no idea what she was doing with curly hair and admitted at the end she didn't know my curl texture or pay attention to how my curls were when I walked in. “ Mike” was unbelievably RUDE and has no enthusiasm to do any work. I had worst experience at my baby shower. I booked hair styling appointment. When I went there and showed him picture of style that I wanted, he said abruptly, “I can only blow dry and curl. Nothing more than that. “ I did try to talk to him. That I booked for my Baby shower but he was adamant n refusing to do anything more ;than curl. I eventually agreed since it was last minute for me. Throughout service, he had his “ facial expressions as uninterested and non enthusiastic to talk to anyone or even congratulate them. In the end, I was disappointed by even curl quality and asked him to curl properly. He refused by saying ,” your hair does not hold any curl” . I have been a patron for over 8 years and I highly recommend this Salon. I also take my children there because the pricing is honestly not much more than a specific "kid cut" place. There's always peace of mind in knowing you get the best and most skilled stylists in the business. You can never go wrong with Aveda salons and their continuous training and environmentally friendly products.

I walked in for my first appointment with Nikki Roberts with big plans. I was planning to cut about 9 inches off and go with a short style for summer. The front staff were great and Nikki’s assistant was wonderful. Nikki had my hair cut within an hour and it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had. The. Best. Haircut. I’ve been back again for highlights and a trim and once again, an amazing experience with Nikki. I love my hair, other people love my hair, my teen sons love my hair. If you’re looking for a new salon and a new stylist, definitely give Pure Concepts a try. If you can schedule with Nikki, even better!!

Kendri is amazing. She is incredibly kind and bubbly and gave me a great haircut. Front desk is also very kind and the atmosphere is great. Would highly recommend this salon!
