Avalon Salon & Spa Aveda

my experience with Avalon Salon has been great. The girls at the front desk are pleasantly friendly, articulate, professional and obviously trained well. In the back, it has been the same experience professionally and though I have only been to three stylist they all were uniquely different in a good way, and all were uniquely different in a talented way. So far no one at Avalon Salon has let me down and that is why I give them a 10. I can't help but to think that Avalon Salon must have impeccable training because it sure shows in their customer relations and service. So thank you Avalon for being of service to me.

My first visit to Avalon was wonderful. I scheduled the Beautifying Aveda Manicure with Josh, who was highly recommended by a colleague. He has a very calming presence and is highly skilled in all aspects of the treatment. This manicure was unlike any I'd ever had - it included hand and forearm massage, and several hot towel wraps for exfoliation and hydration. Josh did an amazing job with my cuticles, and the nail polish is still perfect one week later!!

Brandy Hernandez was amazing. With her I received a pedicure and a beautifying manicure - just what I needed after a month of moving and looking for a job. I immediately felt relaxed walking into the dim lights and quite vibe of the spa area. During my visit I found talking with Brandy was very interesting, and I enjoyed getting to know her. I'll keep her card and ask for her when I'm ready to splurge on myself again.

I had a haircut with Marlee and she is fantastic. I got a little scalp massage with my wash, which was just the perfect thing at the start of my appointment. My cut was just the way I wanted it. She is not a big talker, but will happily engage with you if you initiate the conversation.

Excellent service so far as I've experienced as a new client! I really appreciate stylist Caitlin and her knowledge and skill in color. I really appreciate Josh (?)the nail tech in the spa. He's very personable, down to earth, and skilled. I also enjoyed working with Katy at the front desk, very sweet, helpful and knowledgeable, good a her job. I have enjoyed all three of my first visits to your salon & spa in the Old Mill District!
