I have been going to Valerie, Owner, AVAL for 4 years. Originally went for color correction and Valerie accomplished this in one visit perfectly. My hair has never looked better and I receive compliments all the time. Great haircut and blowout lasts! I sit back & leave everything up to Valerie. The new place is just as easy to get to and park.

Valerie is EXCELLENT!!! I have been going to her for over 35 years at various different locations, now at her newest location at 1950 Boston Post Road in Darien. Going to anyone else is unthinkable. Not only is she a great hair stylist, she is an amazing human being.

LONG HAIR LADIES: YOU ARE SAFE HERE! Ever been advised by a stylist to cut off more hair than you want? You ask for 'just an inch' but somehow come away with 4 inches less hair? This will never happen with Val. If you ask for advice, she will give it, but then you will get EXACTLY what you asked for. I have had long hair my entire life and this is the only stylist that has ever treated my requests with such respect. I've been a customer for years, and will never leave. Give her a try!

Valerie is an incredible colorist. Have been using her for over 10 years and absolutely love the job she does. Her new location is convenient with easy parking and beautiful and clean. Highly recommend.
