I recently visited Atelier Salon for highlights, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was inviting, and I appreciated how clean and well-organized the space was. My stylist (Mel) was incredibly professional, taking the time to discuss my desired look and offering expert advice tailored to my hair type and skin tone. They were attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The application was precise, and I could tell they genuinely cared about achieving the best results. I've been a customer at Atelier for over 15 years. Every interaction I've ever had there has been positive. The owner and all of the employees have always treated me with respect. The salon is clean and up to date. I have been to every stylist there at least once and they are all excellent at what they do. The owner is an expert at cutting curly hair, which I have. His products are great for styling and maintaining curly hair. I swear by all of them. I have recommended them to numerous friends and they have all had the same experience as I have. It is easy to make/change appointments - the staff is as accomodating as possible. I always leave there with a smile on my face and great looking hair!

I have been going to Atelier Salon in Basking Rigde for as long as I can remember and cannot say enough great things about the salon and staff. The team is always pleasant, attentive and just all around friendly. The salon is truly immaculate and my stylist, Nikki, is amazing at her craft! I would highly recommend Nikki and the full team at Atelier. There is always ample parking and the salon is in a great location downtown. Best salon and team hands down!

I'd leave zero stars if possible. First, I have taken all 3 of my children to this hair salon. The haircuts are mediocre at best. The salon itself is not clean at all. I actually was debating calling them and telling them that the way they handle their haircutting tools and disinfecting is not to standard and puts people at risk of spreading illness such as skin fungus and bacterial infections. I am in the medical field and am 100% certain of this. Skin fungus, bacteria and even virus' can easily spread if not disinfected and cleaned properly. Fungus' specifically are very hard to get rid of and many people have it on their scalp. In addition, the owner of the salon is very unpleasant and treats people poorly. Atelier is always a go to place for a good hair cut (especially if you’re picky like me)! My latest hair cut by Cheryl was amazing. She gave a great consult, cut my hair exactly as requested and was super personable throughout the appointment. Overall, always a great experience!
