Great spot for a quick groom! Got a razor cut, long haircut for my son, eyebrow trim, and shampoo/condition — everything came out clean and sharp. Super friendly barbers and fast service.

I've been going there for many years , I prefer to see David when ever possible but on the rare occasions that he's not on and I have something coming up that I need to smarten up for.ive pretty much seen all the barbers at one time or another and they're all really nice and great at what they do . So I'd definitely recommend Astor place to anyone looking for a good haircut at a reasonable price .

I’ve been coming to this place for as long as I can remember, because I’ve almost always had a great haircut from one particular barber. The place does tend to get a little crowded sometimes, but the prices are reasonable enough. And eventually when the parking lot (not their fault) is finished, this place should be back to being fantastic. Except for the wait times. Update, several months later. I’m downgrading to 2 stars. My barber has been declining and I’ve been in denial. But there’s no reason to take phone calls and watch shows on your phone while you cut my hair. If the cut hadn’t come out ok today, I wouldn’t be back. I still might not be, considering how pricy they’ve gotten.

This is the finest establishment in all of Staten Island for someone to get a classic barbershop haircut. I have been visiting David for almost 30 years. Haircut is always perfect, he listens to your requests, and treats your head better than his own. It's always clean. Regular customers are treated as royalty, and many first time visitors are always around.

Owner getting greedy. They close when it says they’re open without notice and the barbers are rushing and losing their touch.
