Today’s experience was disappointing. I’ve been to this salon before around the same time last year and had great service, so this was unexpected. When I sat down, I apologized for coming straight from the gym, and he said it was fine. After he applied the first nail tip, I asked if he could file it a bit because it was leaning. He told me he would shape it later. Once the other finger tips and filing was done. I asked again before the acrylic was applied, and stated, it usually doesn’t come out right. If I waited after the acrylic applied. He started complaining that I was giving him a hard time, even though I was simply asking to file one finger just a little more. Artist Nails is the best in LA — period. Larry is fast, talented, and his prices can’t be beat. My full sets last over a month (and I’m rough on my nails!). The quality is easily worth $200, but you’ll pay less than $60! Pedicures are full service and never rushed — they really take their time. Plus, Larry does amazing brows and lashes too. Super clean shop, great vibes, and unbeatable value. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this nail shop since they opened. I don’t trust anyone else with my nails. They are professional quick and I always leave happy and Larry is the King of Hand Painted Designs. I have Acrylic nails with regular paint and hand painted nail design.

I first went to this salon mid December to have an acrylic set done. It wasn’t the best quality, but was decent enough for the price. I would give 7.5/10 for the acrylic full-set. I came back today for a fill-in. I scheduled an appointment days ago. I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes before my appointment time & the technician was doing someone else’s nails. I asked if it was better to re-schedule as it was clear he was just starting her nails. I was told that he was almost done, to pick out a color & have a seat. 25 minutes into my appointment, he still was not done with her nails & was getting ready to add gems to her design. I've been coming to Larry's for over 15 years. His prices are very reasonable and he always does a great job. He has done many designs for me. The hulk inspired for my son's birthday had been one of my favorites and I received so many compliments. Overall all the workers are great. Tina is awesome with pedicures.
