I have been a constant customer of this place. Always having the same stylist to style my kids hair. I had booked an appointment with the stylist I always go with a week in advance (after I waited a couple of months to grow one of my kids hair to get a certain cut) I got there and the stylist was not at work. They got a student stylist to do my kids hair (without telling me that he was still learning) and every piece of hair is a different length now for each of the kids. I learned that he was a student as my kid told me that is what he said yesterday as my child complained. First of all: why did no one informed me that the stylist was not working. The best barbershop on Staten Island. Never a long wait for walk ins. Super friendly and clean. Ive been coming here for hair cuts since i had hair and now that i dont i get my head shaved and beard line up. Ive known the owner for over 25 years coming to his establishments. They are located right outside the new dorp train station extremely convenient. I would make appointments during these times this way you’re in and out. Here are some photos of the shop.

Very similar atmosphere to the old astor place in the city. Real neighborhood type place. The barbers / stylists are incredible talents. My sons (8 and 5) are very particular, they received the best cuts they ever got and were extremely happy. Will never go anywhere else again...

After relocating back to Staten Island from Florida, I chose to visit Artistic Image based on the excellent reputation of the establishment and its owner, Joe. I was thoroughly impressed with my haircut; Joe attentively listened to my preferences and ensured my satisfaction before I left. The salon was exceptionally clean, and the staff was both professional and welcoming. Thank you, Joe—I look forward to my next visit.

Great place! Took my son to get a cut for the first time. Sosa did an excellent job on my 4 year old he took his time. Hes truly talented The owner and staff are very nice. Highly recommended!! SOSA!!
