5 STAR-PLUS! Highly recommend Another Level Barber Shop if you are Black or African American or any ethnicity with coarse-type hair. We're not from Utah, visiting, and needed an edge up - Luis the barber did just that! I love my edge up (pic with earrings and orange top/back of head)! My nephew and great-nephew came with me, but I don't recall the barber's name who cut my great-nephew's hair and cleaned up my nephew's beard (see b4 and after pics). As you can see, both their hair and beard came out super crisp and clean! We will definitely be back! Awesome cuts, gentlemen!

I’ve been coming here for about 8 years, even when I occasionally try other places out of convenience or when family down south (who are pros) I’m super picky and I don’t always ask for typical styles, but this shop nails it every single time. I usually schedule with Colby because he’s always been incredible, but today I went to Jenna with a pretty detailed request I wanted a cut that looked good up, down, with a hat, and I needed a section left out to restart a Jedi braid. It required a lot of scissor work, a clean lineup, and a burst fade.. most people don’t get it right on the first try. Jenna absolutely crushed it. Luis did an awesome job on my son’s hair! My son has been growing his hair for a month to get it long enough for a Mohawk and he wanted a cool design on the side. Luis made it happen! We’ll be back!
