I've been to a dozen hair places in the Valley and this was by far the best experience I've had. I was looking for a place with a more personalized experience and someone who was genuinely experienced with longer hair, scissor cuts, and achieving less common hairstyles. You can tell from the questions he asks that he's a true professional and cares a lot about his clients. And on top of all that, he's very friendly and easy to talk to. I'd say the price is well worth the quality; I'd definitely recommend J. Clark Walker to anyone interested in a higher level cut

Clark does an amazing job. His attention to detail is unlike any other! I have longer hair and it's been super tough to find anyone that cuts it the way that I want it. Clark always does a great job, and I get so many compliments from people after he cuts my hair. 5 star rating hands down!

J Clark Walker has been my barber for the better part of 11 years now, seeing him settle in so nicely back home in Salt Lake City is a beautiful thing and he's created a wonderfully calming space to enjoy not only an excellent haircut, but even better company. He's a great listener and that translates into an amazing barber for me; understanding the intended look, making sure we're on track along on the way and checking in, every step is effortlessly handled until you arrive with your final look. Not a lot of places allow for the time that a great haircut takes, Clark does - - and it's a pleasure to sit in his chair.

50% therapy session, 50% haircut… 100% worth it. Clark is awesome. A breath of fresh air in a fast-paced, generic, and often mediocre world. As a guy with long hair, you don’t really fit in at a traditional men’s barbershop or a typical salon. That makes it tough to find someone who listens, understands, and earns your trust. Clark took his time, listened closely, eased my concerns, and delivered an excellent haircut.
