Anna's Bodywork Massage

I don't like writing negative reviews, but the reviews were so high, I had a lot of hope and want to share my honest experience. Pros: The price is affordable. Anna is friendly. The space is very relaxing. Cons: I do not think they know how to do prenatal massages, and I do not recommend them for women who are very pregnant (I am 35 weeks along). While they do have a prenatal bolster, which I like, I was left in the cut out for the full 60 minute session. We never switched positions, and by the end of the massage, my lower back was killing me and I had difficulty getting out. Hours later, I am experiencing sharp pain all down my back. My belly is protruding and I can tell my center of gravity is no longer over my hips. I am in more pain now than when I came. My other complaint is that

5 years later, and STILL exceptional. Great instincts on pressure, and the light therapy addition is a fantastic option. The studio is meticulous & roomy while still cozy. The building itself is very nice and easy to navigate with easy parking and elevator access to the 3rd floor. ALSO - Update for this month - I added the infrared light therapy and LOVED IT. Super location w easy parking and an elevator. The reception area and massage studio are welcoming w high ceilings, while still feeling private and cozy. Anna is great at making you feel comfortable and providing the massage therapy service and pressure you prefer. The CBD oil and hot stones are a FABULOUS upgrade well worth the addition! Anna is amazing! I had the most relaxing prenatal massage with her. I’ve had them at other places with my previous pregnancy but this massage was far better than any I’d had before. She has this great massage table for the prenatal massage that is very comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing and the aromatherapy was a great addition to my massage. I told her my problem areas of my shoulders and my hips. She used firm pressure on my shoulders that was just right and lighter pressure on my hips because of my pregnancy. It was perfect. I highly recommend her and will be going back and sending my husband for a deep tissue massage.

I have had many services from Anna, I have loved every single one. She has helped with tension, sore and tight muscles, headaches, and strained knees. I have done sound bowls ( amazing and relaxing) to light therapy with and without massage. It has done absolutely magic. Life gives us different aches and pains and Anna has always been there with a solution. She is great to work with and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend in every way. My latest treatment is an anti aging service. I was glowing when I left after my first treatment!! I am excited to continue and see more progress.

I highly recommend Anna for any of your massage needs. I also see her for light therapy sessions, which have helped relieve the pain in my back immensely. The targeted light, combined with her massage techniques, do wonders for relieving knots in my shoulders. She's truly the best
