Great People and Resource Rich. Their posted hours are there for initiates and the curious since membership brings unlimited access after a brief vetting/break-in period. Rates are excellent (<$100/month) and, as a member, you'll never create alone again. Welcome aboard. I hope to see everyone upon my return to AK.

Such a great spot for community-focused makers or a maker-focused community member. They have all the tools you'd ever need to make whatever you'd ever think. Laser cutter, 3D printer, woodworking stuff, electrical stuff, the whole nine yards, complete with comfortable couches! Really looking forward to spending more time here.

The Anchorage Makerspace is unlike any other place in Anchorage. With tools ranging from lasers to 3d printers, CNC routers to welders, there's not much that you can't make here. Being the unique niche that it is, the people that frequent the Makerspace are just as diverse in their backgrounds and interests, lending you the opportunity to get help putting an art piece together one day and come back to learn about PID tuning for your race drone. No matter what it is you're thinking of, if you want to put something together or dream up a project there's someone here with the skills and knowledge to help you make it happen.

I'm a member, so I have a bit of bias, but it's one of those places that will only ever be what you make of it. Extremely community driven, and most of the time good and supportive people are drawn to it.
