Results. Melissa evaluates your body and focuses on your specific needs. My lower back and shoulders were always sore because of poor posture and desk work. I’ve been to massage therapists before and never had anything other than short term relief. After the first visit with Melissa I was getting results. She worked with me on being mindful of my posture, dug into my muscles and fascia, and even educated me on what fascia is and what it does. With some homework stretches and a few visits, I’m on my way to fixing this body.

Over the past 30 odd years, I've had the privilege to work with a good number of varied and amazing bodyworkers from all over the place, and for my needs/wants, Melissa Michael is simply the best I've ever found. Period. I did the 12 Session Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) program and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I don’t recall my body ever feeling more tended-to, tuned-up, and understood. I’m so glad I invested in myself in this way. Melissa herself, is a lovely and gentle human being to be in the presence of and once the session starts, there's a natural and intuitive strength and a profound understanding of the body that emerges from her that is as comforting as it is moving. Melissa was so kind and informative. We established a baseline and she helped me work through postural abnormalities and pain points. She also helped identify triggered muscles and gave me at home tips. After working with her I feel grounded and aware of my body as well as relaxed. HIGHLY recommend!!

Before I started working with Melissa I had constant joint pain. Sitting was particularly uncomfortable. Getting through my workday was difficult and sitting in a car or airplane was torture. After completing the 12 series the pain is gone. I am very grateful that the treatment was so successful and I can get back to normal life.
