I’ve been a loyal client of Amy for over 10 years—even before she moved to the Fresh Pond location. I can confidently say she’s the only stylist I trust with my hair. I have curly hair that’s also thinning, and Amy always takes her time to blow it out gently on low heat to minimize damage. Her trimming skills are unmatched—she has such a precise and careful touch. Since my last cut with her, my hair feels stronger and looks fuller. Even after moving to Chicago 7 years ago, I still make it a point to see Amy for a trim whenever I’m visiting family in NYC. She’s truly the best. Highly recommend!

Amy took my daughter & I as walk-ins. We had pictures of what we wanted and Amy did just that, exactly. We couldn’t be happier with the quick service, the beautiful quality haircuts, and the reasonable pricing. We will definitely return when we need haircuts again! Thank you, Amy!

I went in for a blowout and Carmen did an amazing job! My hair came out so smooth, shiny, and exactly how I wanted it. She was super friendly and professional the whole time. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a great blowout!

I have gotten my hair done at Amy Salon at least 3 or 4 times now. The ladies are all very nice even though there’s a bit of a language barrier. I tell them long layers and they do a great job. They don’t use any products but I just use my own for extra shine when I get home. Maybe I’ll start bringing my own products next time. I’m just happy to have an affordable haircut that looks even better than past salons where I’ve paid 2-3x the price. It’s a charming spot for people who aren’t fussy. I’ll be back!

She fixed the mess I made from watching YouTube hair cutting tutorials at 12:30 in the morning. Was able to book an early appointment to fix it. She did a wonderful job and was very nice! Will definitely be going back again! 🙂
