I am so glad I found Hidemi last year! She has consistently provided the best haircuts and shampoo/scalp massages. I recently decided to try adding some color and she expertly guided me through my first balayage, which I love!

Hidemi possesses a talent for understanding the unique characteristics of my wavy hair and considering its natural recoil with every snip of her scissors. This thoughtful approach guarantees that she never inadvertently leaves my hair too short. She cuts my hair to the perfect length, every time, allowing it to fall beautifully after it recoils. I have complete faith in Hidemi's skills. After she cuts my hair, she blow-dries it to see how it looks, then refines the cut further with careful, measured snips here and there. After each appointment, I can effortlessly blow-dry my hair at home because it falls into place so naturally. Hidemi is the best hair stylist I’ve been with so far in West LA. She is thoughtful, meticulous and very neat when it comes to haircuts. Her massages are amazing as well! I was so impressed that I made my mom get a haircut from her and thanks to Hidemi my mom is thrilled about her new hair and she looks lovely! My haircut this evening was FANTASTIC! This is my thin fine hair made to look like Chef’s kiss!

Really nice stylists, but probably one of the worst cuts I've ever hair (long thick straight asian hair). Layers were not done well. I wanted Hidemi but got another female Japanese stylist who was available (forgot her name). She was thoughtful and kind but unfortunately, I think there was a language barrier.
