Customer Reviews
I went to Ama Spa for my first facial. I had a wonderful, relaxing experience. Jordan C. was my esthetician and she did a wonderful job. The atmosphere and music was so calming-I really didn't want it to end. I will be going back for more!
The massage itself was done well! And the lobby is pretty. Those are really the only two positives, which is why the rating got one star. Here are the negatives: the people weren’t very friendly… at all. Almost acted annoyed that I was there. When I got to the locker room, there were seven dirty glasses / cups on the one small counter top in the entire space. I thought maybe a party had just left and gave them a bit of grace. When I came back after two hours, all the dirty glasses were still there taking up space all over the counter. There was only one clean robe in the locker room when I walked in and a mound of about 15 dirty robes overflowing out of the basket. There were no clean sandals. There were paper towels sprawled on the counter. Very very messy locker room, that was clearly no
I loved using AMA Spa at The Edwin! I’ve been a loyal customer of Daniela for years. She’s the best in her field, and she’s incredibly knowledgeable about the services and massages she provides.
They charge me a service fee for the massage and don't give all of my tip to the person that gave me the massage. In my mind, this is theft. I will not do business the place that steals from their employees. If that wasn't enough the place isn't nearly as clean as you would expect it to be.
Camille gave me the best massage I’ve had in years! It was the perfect amount of pressure and relieved all of my (significant) tension. In the past few months, I’ve had massages at the Four Seasons in Atlanta, the Mandarin Oriental in NYC, and the Montelucia in Phoenix. Those massages didn’t come close to the massage (a 90-minute muscle revive) I got at Ama. I was very pleasantly surprised! Bonus: their spa services are extremely competitively priced. The spa itself was spotlessly clean. Everyone I interacted with was kind and accommodating. The waiting lounge has fun snacks, and I enjoyed a glass of bubbly while I waited for my massage. The only downside is that the spa doesn’t have a sauna, steam room, or jacuzzi.
