ALTERS HAIR SALON

We had an event coming up, and at the last minute, our hairstylist had an emergency. We just happened to search and called Alters Hair Salon. Marie answered and told us that she would accommodate all three of our ladies on a Monday when is normally off. We have three dancers with three different hair texture. One needed a "Blow out", the other needed color and highlight, and the third needed curls and an updo. Let me tell you, Marie did not disappoint. The ladies loved their hairs and she saved our performance that day. The prices were great as well. Thank you Marie. Highly professional and highly recommended!

She seems very nice. However, my hair is ruined. I wanted an ombre. My hair is normally brown and I wanted blonde. I showed her a picture she said she could do it. Once she was finished my hair looked awful 😞 not blended what so ever. Looks like I just haven't bleached my hair in 2 years. My hair was half way down my back but my hair is so broken now I need to get about 3 inches cut off total. I really wish she would have said that going that light isn't a good idea and suggested something else. I didn't know this because this is not my profession. She did give me half off but really I am so sad I was getting my hair done for my wedding and now I guess I'll have to wear a wig. Edit she is calling me a liar. I have been using Marie for a little over 2 years! She does an amazing color. Always cuts my hair exactly how I want it or better and has helped me fix my damaged hair. Her prices are great and unless she moves out of state I will always go to her for my hair services!

Marie/Elizinda Joseph is not only a delightful human being but is excellent at what she does! I had been meaning to get my hair done for sometime but had not set an appointment. I called with no notice and luckily she had an opening and made time for me! I spoke to her for maybe two minutes about what I wanted (no photo references) and she so lets do this! She nailed it! It was clean, and very cozy. She had relaxing music playing and the light streaming in from the window was warming. Wonderful experience and more than happy with the results! I found my new hair stylist!

Marie has been my hair stylist for many years, since she worked at JC Penney. First, I’m pleased with how she takes care of my hair. It’s very healthy and looks nice. She is professional, courteous, and respectful of my time. She is also flexible when I have to reschedule. I enjoy my time in her salon and look forward to many more years with her.
