Allure Salon

I visited the salon after a long time without any hair treatments and wanted partial highlights along with a layered haircut. Dani was wonderful. She asked thoughtful questions to understand what I was hoping for and offered great suggestions to improve the final look. She recommended a bit of hair thinning since my hair has a lot of volume and she made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. After that she created beautiful wine red highlights that turned out exactly how I imagined. My hair feels lighter and the layers frame my face so nicely. I am extremely happy with the result.

Great first time seeing Michele and getting my vivid colors done. It was a decent amount of time but VERY worth it! I cant wait to come in again for future appointments. She is very thorough and takes a ton of pride in her work and her life.

Michelle has been my favorite stylist for as long as I have lived in Chico. I love her vision and understanding of my needs (or when I’m ready to experiment) and her tips and tricks have helped me as someone who is awful at styling her own hair. 100% no matter what is willing to work with her schedule to see her.

So glad that I found Michele @ Allure! I had been dying my own hair with henna for years, thinking it was all natural and so good for my hair’s health, but it just was too much for me to keep up. I was ready to get my hair professionally colored again, but I knew no hair dresser would go near me because of the henna. Thankfully, Michele was willing to experiment on me! She did careful tests and showed me that in fact the henna/me not using adequate heat protection had cooked my hair. Cooked it! I had sensed that my hair felt brittle and strange but wow I was really in the danger zone and didn’t realize it. Michele has kindly and creatively worked with me for a year to grow out the henna and re-fortify my hair structure. She and the other Allure staff are friendly and chatty, and I feel r
