Oh my gosh I can't believe I've been going to Janet for over ten years and have never posted a review for her! She is one of the best hair stylists for natural or processed hair. My mom had been going to her for years, so it's basically a family tradition. She always takes care of me and I know she will do the best for you too! They even have a barbershop section for the guys so check it out 👍🏽

My daughter went here for a silk press and got it done by Tyese and it came out amazing! She went back to get help on it and Tyese was incredibly understanding and helpful throughout the entire process. We will definitely be coming back here and recommending to our friends.

Janet made room in her calendar for me to be seen the next day. She truly has an eye for detail. I walked in with heavy, uneven, damaged naturally curly hair and left with lightweight, even-cut, moisturized curls (with bounce!). She also provided product recommendations to improve the health of my hair and continue its style. Janet is a talented hair artist: do not hesitate to book with her!

The owner here is absolutely amazing she opened up for me on a Sunday and did a cut color and silk press. She was so nice and the business was very clean a hidden gem! OK, so I tried to get a haircut on zero notice in Portland which I found rather difficult. I had given up when I saw the sign for this shop. WHAT A BLESSING. Janet was able to squeeze me in while she was waiting for another client's hair to set, and got me squared up with one of the best trims I've ever had (didn't rush the work either, she's way too kind, friendly, and professional). Such a hidden gem, Janet knows exactly what she's doing. I'm not from Portland but I'm planning my next trip based on when I need a haircut, and I'm coming here. THANK YOU
