Nick is great. I try to get a haircut every time I pass through the area. a hidden gem in the Aberdeen area. while the world turns to big box chain brand ‘salons’, Nick is the best choice for a real man’s barber.

I requested a medium fade, but Nick decided not to do that. He didn't do a fade. It was not a terrible haircut especially for $25. It's just not what I asked for. This place is also cash only.

Reliable Old School Barber. Wish I had known about Nick sooner- he can see what the cut should look like. He's a natural! Looks great when you leave as well as when its grown out. Thanks Nick. 😊

The barber didn’t ask what I wanted, and seemed offended when I tried to tell him specifics, replying “I’ve been doing this X years - I know what you want”. Then when he started doing my neck and I asked for a square neck, he said “you should have told me earlier”. 🤦‍♂️ Also, made some problematic regarding race and had Fox News playing in the background, which is not an environment I personally enjoy. Overall, he seemed grumpy and adversarial - would not recommend. The haircut was ok, which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1.

Mr. Nick takes his time to make sure you walk away like a million bucks. Unlike other barbershops in this area, Mr. Nick is open on time and stays late. I can always count on Mr. Nick, you can too.
