Amazing! Very nice haircut and he's so friendly!

Albert has been my barber since I moved to Elmhurst a few years ago. Very experienced, and does a good thorough job. I'm always pleased with Albert's haircut. I'm happy that I found an excellent barber close to home.

I visited the establishment and asked I could get a tapered cut. The old man that was present (which was probably the owner) yelled at me and said I should go next door. I felt belittled by the experience. It was obvious that I was discriminated against because I am a black woman. The sign outside the business states that they cut women’s hair, so I should not have been turned away or treated in such an inhumane way. I was appalled and disappointed by the interaction. I would give this place “0 stars” ⭐️ if Google would allow me to do so. :(

Stay away. I went in for the very first time for a much needed haircut. Showed the barber-possibly the owner by the way he was acting- a photo of the haircut I wanted. He immediately begins to say no and speaking a foreign language to the other barber. Eventually he agreed to cut my hair but completely rushed through it and had I not continually instructed him how to cut my hair would have left me how I came in, but only with square sideburns and a straight edge.

I’ve went there 6 times and every time I went the barber’s are always lost in their own world. I asked for a specific hair cut every time I got something way different and always my hair is uneven. Sometimes longer in the back or front. Because of that I had to get haircuts every week which I don’t have the time for. Worst place in Queens, barbers are always cursing each other and other people in Russian and assume no one understands them.
