Aicha African Hair Braiding

I had an amazing time at this salon. This salon is all business. I came in, I explained that I wanted FULL boho braids and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She constantly checked in with me throughout the experience as well. I think I found my new braiding spot 🥰

I called to make an appointment and was able to get in on the day I wanted. I was running late but they assured me that it wasn't a problem. My daughter's hair was braided in less than half the time than it took somewhere else and she was comfortable throughout. There were plenty of choices and she got what she wanted. I paid the same here at a salon as I did last time at a friend's home. I'll be back!

I have been going to Aicha's African Hair Braiding for over 5 yrs. If there were anymore starts to give, I would! One of my best friends recommended the salon to me because she had gone for many years and was always satisfied with the services she'd received. I started my natural hair journey there with the owner Fatou. I have had so many beautiful hair braiding styles that I always get nice comments on.When I am asked "who does your braids" I happily give them the shop contact information. If I do not have a style already picked out she's always honest and suggests others. My young daughter also gets her braided here. She loves Fatou (me too)! She loves getting all the different hair colors and other fancy hair decorations. I read that some have had a bad experience and that is unfortunat

I did my crochet there, called in advance. After my hair was done (wasn’t bad). I was told cash only??? I wasn’t told this before but I had no problem, I was on my phone looking for the nearest ATM and she demanded that I dropped my phone while I go look for atm. I had my bag with my latest Mac book sitting there and I asked why would I have to drop my phone(then I had to walk over 15 min to and Afro to the ATM). I just felt she could have let her customer know before hand and also ask how what the next time (then she would have know I have a laptop and I don’t have to drop my phone) rather than demanding for my phone.

I waited almost two hours before they were able to start my braids. There was no apology and she was not polite during the service. 5 packs of extension were used on my hair (who does that?!) The braids were not done till the end, instead it was dipped in hot water and brushed, I had to spend my time finishing them up when I got home. I don’t recommend
