African Hair Braiding Studio

This was my second time getting my hair braided by Tracy and honestly I won’t be going anywhere else. She’s the best. I have really thin edges but she always manages to conceal them with her skillful technique. I always get so many compliments. Tracy is kind and responsive, and her new location is clean and modern. Definitely give her a try.

Nadia is excellent! By far one of the best braiders in LA. She’s also so kind and welcoming. The amount of compliments I receive every time she does my braids speaks volumes of her talent. I’ve had other braiders in the past that can’t hold a candle to her work. As long as she’s in the Cali I will continue going to her.

Nadia did an amazing job on my braids! They came out neat, clean, and exactly the style I asked for. What really impressed me is how budget-friendly her prices are for the quality you get, truly the best value I’ve found in the area. The studio is kid-friendly, welcoming, and very comfortable. She was patient and gentle, and my child felt relaxed the whole time. You can tell she cares about her clients and their experience. I absolutely loved my boho braids from this African Hair Braiding Studio! The parts were clean, the braids were flawless, and the style came out even better than the pictures I showed. The shop is welcoming, professional, and the vibe is so relaxing. The braider was gentle, quick, and really paid attention to detail. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! I’ll definitely be coming back, this is my new go-to spot for boho styles and all my braiding needs.

She is not a good stylist! She is not a good person at all. She used me out of my money, because I wanted braids in a certain style, and I showed her the picture before she started. As she was doing my hair, I felt like something was wrong and after she finished, I then knew why. I wanted many braids down my back, but she only put about 10 jumbo braids in my hair, and I did not ask for that. At the end, I told her I didn't want it going past my butt, and she didn't listen and she didn't put many braids in. She told me that she think it's okay, and completely disregarded how I felt. She kept laughing over my head while doing my hair, which made me feel very uncomfortable, because I had a bad experience like that before, and it was very unprofessional.
