African Glamour Braids

Fatu(with the help of her stylist/partner) got my box braids done in less than 3 hours which is unheard of! They were fast but gave quality service & my braids were evenly sized! After braiding they took time to trim every braid to ensure there were no pieces sticking out which made them come out nice, clean & neat, ends were dipped too! Please don’t go to this place they are scammers! I asked and paid for KNOTLESS Braids they gave small box braids! Rushed me to pay them b4 they were even done and rushed me out of the door! It was late and I didn’t see my hair til I got home! I wish I could give zero stars.

This my second time using this salon for my daughter. The first time the style was a two strand twist small in size for $100 I thought it was a great value and wanted to bring my daughter in again for a protective style which aides in morning rituals. I showed a picture of the size of braids I wanted and the pattern. She mentioned fake hair in which I said just natural and asked if it was able to be done. She said yes just with no curl at the end which was perfectly fine. Fast forward to completion the braids are almost 3 times larger then requested. The base of the braid is not strong and tight. Don't go. Braider seemed to have a attitude, braid extremely to tight, which is completely unnecessary to have flawless long lasting braids. My scalp was burned from stream from dipping my hair into hot water which has never happened before at other braid shops and she did not care when I was screaming from the pain of being burned and the tension of her pulling my already extremely sore and tender scalp she and her staff just laughed. Then at the end of service right after I paid her the price she quoted before braiding my hair she added more to the price because she had to use a extra bag of hair than planned on my hair. This braid salon gets NO STARS from me! I had to go back a second time because I could not see my braids for my natural hair showing all over my head, looked like a two year old just played in my hair. I had a fro going in, and a fro coming out. Instead of them telling me that the micro braids should be braided down a bit more so my natural hair would not show, they did not care about how I left their salon looking a hot mess. When I told the girl who was braiding my hair, that my natural hair should not be showing all over my head or not at all, she put moose on my hair and said it will blend in. When I went back the second time, they told me I shouldn't put anything on my hair, I asked why, and they said you not suppose to put anything on the hair. This salon is not educated on how to t
