Aesop Upper West Side

Recently stopped in after passing by because they were burning incense outside. It smelled fabulous so I popped in. Their team was very welcoming. I thought it was a great marketing approach to have their door open, burning the incense and then they sold me by providing a selection of wine, cheese and chocolates. The ambience was friendly and professional and left with incense which I have been lighting daily.

I walked in genuinely interested in learning about the products and getting couple of things but felt unwelcome and ignored. Despite there being three associates on the floor, I was left without help. The associate who initially assisted me left in middle the of our conversation, and no one else stepped in. I did end up purchasing a Christmas gift, but I would not return to this location.

Love this shop. The products are amazing, the staff is super helpful and nice. Their products make great gifts, anyone from friends and family to hosts and hostess and of course yourself. I recommend their skin line products, hand cream & hand soap duo, hand balm, tooth paste, room spray and post poo drops. There is a scent for everyone, and the smells are incredible. Also the staff members really help you find the scent/product you’re looking for. They also offer herbal tea while you shop and samples of things you’re interested in :)

Stopped in yesterday at 5:30. I have been shopping Aesop for years (stores and online) and knew exactly what I wanted to gift. Sales associate quickly rang my sale but never asked if I'm in their system, which I am. She failed to offer to re-ring my purchase (they weren't busy) nor did I leave with any product samples. Disappointing experience, certainly didn't feel "premium" or "luxe".

I had the most amazing time at this location. Kelsey was incredible, kind, patient, went above and beyond, and helped me find perfect scents that I cannot wait to use! I will absolutely be back!
