I stopped into the store as a last-minute Christmas shopping effort with no intention of lingering—but Brittney completely transformed what could have been a rushed, stressful errand into a genuinely memorable experience. As someone new to the brand, I felt immediately welcomed rather than overwhelmed by the extensive product wall. Brittney greeted me warmly and intuitively stepped in to guide me through the offerings with patience and expertise. When I mentioned I was shopping for a couple, she listened carefully and offered thoughtful pairing suggestions that perfectly suited my needs—demonstrating both deep product knowledge and a real attentiveness to the customer in front of her. I had an amazing shopping experience today thanks to Brittney! From the moment I walked in, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful without ever being pushy. She listened to what I was looking for, made thoughtful recommendations, and went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed. Brittney is hands-down the best salesperson I’ve ever encountered—professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about helping customers. If you ever visit this store, ask for her. The woman who helped me here gave me such great service. At many Aesop’s I feel kidnapped into some strange ritual of tea and having someone moisturize my hands and offer me piles of samples when all I want to do is replace my shampoo. The woman at this location was welcoming, attentive and apprehended correctly that I just wanted to replace a few things quickly. I sometimes don’t go into Aesop shops because I worry it will take so long. For anyone looking for excellent efficient service, or the drawn out rituals and samples, I recommend this location.

Typically the staff is unpretentious and extremely helpful and it was no different at the University Street location. Alex helped us and he was very patient and attentive even though he and his colleague had to juggle a few customers. Aesop has fantastic products albeit it's a bit pricey, but wouldn't you want to die a little poorer and live a fuller life of good experiences?

While I managed to find a perfume that I liked, one of the associates was pretentious and treated my friend and I like we were kids who just walked into the store to cause trouble. It was disappointing because I have gone to the store before, and other staff members have been kind and pleasant. Not to mention that the same associate and another associate were talking about one of the other associates? I found it quite rude. Overall, I expected better from Aesop.
