Kalieb, what a wonderful human you are and an awesome stylist. You and your staff are awesome. Shoutout to Janelle (sorry if I spelled it wrong) for not changing despite who you thought I was haha. Such kind and chill vibes for my first time being there. I went in not knowing what to do with myself just knowing I wanted a change. Trusted what you had to say and we came out on top & red looks great.. I feel like a brand new human. Thank you all.

I started going to this salon in June. Sparkle was my stylist. The first time I went was good but after that, she was acting in an unprofessional manner. She gave me a short quick weave. She glued it down so tight that some of my hair came out. I informed her and all she said was oh no. Still giving her a chance to get things right, I went back two weeks later, she said we don’t wash quick weaves. She proceeded to put foaming lotion on my hair. She sat me under the dryer for about 15 minutes and curled my hair. She did not wash it. I thought it was a violation to curl dirty hair and, she had the nerve to charge me $55.00. Then, I went back a few weeks later to get a relaxer. I believe she gave me color and a relaxer at the same appointment because, I’m noticing that my hair texture is diff

Stylist, Marie S. Did dredlocks in my son's hair. She did a good job. These were starter locks on shoulder length hair. She was patient with him and very kind. As I waited for my son's hair to be done, I observed that the stylists at this salon can do hair. I saw blowouts and styles, natural hair, long hair, short hair, and more all leave out looking good. The aesthetics of the salon are nice, staff appear professional and kind, and they had complimentary cupcakes. Hooray for this place! We will be returning!

I have nothing but good things to say about AFH and their stylist Byron. Byron has help me start and continue my sons loc journey. My son has enough hair for 3 people and every visit Byron takes his time and makes the experience just a pleasure. The first visit we literally closed down the shop because of the amount of hair my son has. But never did we feel rushed or a burden. Byron explained loc maintenance and what we need to do in between visits. So if your in need of a stylist to do your locs don’t hesitate to give Byron a call and tell him Maui sent you.
