Abangoua African Hair Braiding

I got my daughter‘s hair braided there, with her real hair only. Very simple style $90. Again NO weave we were there from 2:20 PM until 7:20 PM. Very unprofessional the woman that I spoke to the prices that I was quoted she wasn’t even at the shop, I tried to call to speak with her, she just over talked the conversation. I didn’t even ask for money back. I was just letting her know that the quality did not match the service that I received. Bottom line I would not recommend this place.

I would not recommend this braiding salon to anyone! I recently moved to Sherwood and was looking for recommendations. This place had a bad review but was the only place with a walk in available. So I took a chance… Never again! She started 30 minutes late, because she needed to pray! Ok fine… she worked for an hour and then left again. She was gone for an hour! I’m pissed by this point! She returned and now she extra rough with my head like someone made her mad while she was out! But 8pm I was done! This job should have taken 4 hours! But here I was 7 hours later! I literally paid her and left! My hair wasn’t even done and I didn’t care! Not to mention the roaches that were crawling around! 0/10 would not recommend!!!

Horrible experience! The customer service was awful. They quoted one price over the phone, another price when I went in to pay the deposit, and charged more at the appointment. I was told it would take five to six hours, but on the day of the appointment my daughter was there for 11 1/2 hours for medium knotless! After 7 hours, she had only done the top of her hair. I asked when she would be done and she had no ETA because she had “a lot of hair “. She asked if I wanted the rest to be bigger to get it done faster. She was short and rude during conversation. Not to mention the braider arrived to a 10am appointment at 11:30! They don’t value the customer’s time. I would never take my daughters back or recommend. I would give no stars if possible to match the level of professionalism..

They have the worst customer service. I requested 2 Braiders before booking my micro braids. I had 1 Braider on my hair for the 1st five hours . The owner kept telling me her niece was coming to help. I kept asking her where’s the niece. She got mad and went off on me. They were extremely late, everyone who got their hair done had to wait over an hour before they got started. They were stopping and taking walk ins while having clients in their chair. They are so money hungry they don’t turn down clients or properly schedule. They over book. They didn’t even have drinks or snacks to offer their clients. They could at least have bottles of water to offer. They think black women need them therefore they treat us any kind of way. They have no respect for anyone, they want money & money only.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! I used to go to this hair braiding shop quite a bit when I was very young. Back then their service was great but now they've gone completely down hill. You schedule an appointment 3 days in advance; walk into the salon to find all 4 stylist doing other peoples hair. To make it worse they JUST STARTED which we all know takes some time. I was supposed to receive micros at 10 in the morning. They started at 12:28. They stopped so many times to work on other clients hair and was left sitting there for 30 minutes until one of the stylists decided to continue finishing the task at hand. The worst part about all of this was when I called in advance I was notified the cost would be 160 dollars depending on whether I bought my own hair (in which I did). I decided to
