A Salon

I go here for Japanese straight perms. He does a very excellent job, very detailed. The price is always reasonable. I love going to a place where someone seems to care so much about doing a good job. He also does a great job with cutting my hair. Highly recommend!

@CT Lee - OMG! you committed the cardinal sin. Cash in a white envelope (in Chinese culture) means death as in giving condolences when someone died. you probably didn’t mean to be insulting, but now you understand why he’d be pissed. You might owe him an apology ✌🏼

Usually go to this place for haircuts. Owner, San Ge requests cash only. Today both family members went there for haircuts. With an all the cash in hand, decided to put all the $$ in one envelope to hand to the owner. When it was time to pay, he stared intensely at the envelope, once handed him the envelope, he immediately complained, “How could you hand me a white envelope?!” Asked him curiously, “White enveloped not allowed?” He replied with raging anger, “No!” He took out the cash, threw the envelope onto the floor, walked away (no exaggeration). Very bizarre behavior over a simple envelope. Will never recommend this salon.

Beware!!! If this salon makes a mistake on your hair and chops it off !! They will not acknowledge the mistake, blame you and refuse a refund. Anne the owner was very rude as I was trying to explain the issue with how her stylist cut my daughters hair. I paid for the cut and requested a simple refund. This salon cares very little about customer service or taking responsibility. It is very frustrating. Usually people like to diffuse a customer’s anger not make them angrier. Be warned. I will never recommend this salon.

Wilson is the best hairstylist in Boston! Tufts students and Bostonians all around should flock to get their haircuts here at A-Salon. Wilson is very meticulous and will give you all his attention to make sure you have the perfect and most flattering cut. I highly recommend you give him a try men and women alike he will make you look great for a great value.
