A & O Braiding Salon

This was my first time coming here after getting a recommendation from a coworker. I will definitely be coming back. I’m tender headed and Estella and the ladies who helped her were so gentle with me. No pain at all and other braiders have had me tearing up! I was greeted immediately when I came in. I didn’t come with boho hair and the salon they have got me what I needed and my hair is so cute. I feel so beautiful and it felt like a luxury experience. I was given a snack and water. The best part… I had no wait time and got waist length boho in less than 5 hours. Glad to have found a place that made a beautiful first impression. Thanks Ladies!!

2 stars because of the personality but my last 2 times here i have not been satisfied. The first of the last 2 times i got boho knotless not what i booked but ok whatever . One side of my braids was way longer than the other side , my parts were all different sizes, my hair was unraveling . Now this last time i actually booked through the school . I sent my deposit no confirmation email . I called right before my appointment time to confirm before i went and i was told the services i booked the school doesn’t do because they just opened so why have it on the site then ? So fine i switch the style i get there and a man is working on me ok fine the problem is he was EXTREMELY heavy handed he ripped the rubber band out of my real pony and i felt my hair pull out . At this point, I’ve been to the shop getting my hair done on four different occasions and it’s a 10 out of 10 every time for me. The atmosphere is very peaceful. I love being there . I love the convenience that they have the beauty supply store on the property. I get my hair braided with Judith every time and she Always delivers. My personal opinion, this shop operates in excellence. My Braids are neat and just how I ask for them. I will continue to come here and get my hair done and I highly recommend. On 9/22, I scheduled an appointment for Knotless Braids, Micro Small Parts ($330). I paid a $45 deposit, leaving a remaining balance of $310. I immediately received a text asking me to send a photo of what I wanted. I searched Instagram for micro knotless braids and sent the picture. I arrived for my appointment and waited two and a half hours. I was eventually paired with GiGi. While I did like my hair, it was not what I requested. GiGi told me she was unable to do micro knotless and could only do small knotless. I agreed to continue, and since I had my own hair, I allowed her to use that. Vivan braided my hair and did a wonderful job. My hair is really short and she did a great job letting me no what would be a better choice for my hair which wasn't far off from what I wanted. I got box braids with boho tips. Im obsessed, I love them so much. My braids aren't super tight and she finished pretty fast. Will recommend and be back.
