A Kut Above

After years of her wonderful services, I thought it was about time I leave a rave review for my hair stylist Mel with “A Kut Above”! I have always had a great haircut and the compliments my hair receives are numerous! I cannot thank her enough. She always listens and advises practical and professional advice. She has introduced me to new looks, techniques, styling and amazing products to use. She has convinced me to stay naturally curly with salt and pepper hair. I’m sure she’s good at coloring (if you desire that), however I don’t have any experience in that field. Mel is highly qualified and exceptionally talented.

Mel and Angie are amazing stylists. Mel gives the best cuts, period. Angie always does an excellent job when coloring my hair. I trust them with my life!

I have been a customer of A Kut Above since the early 1980s, and to this very day, it is the quintessential cie chic styling salon in the region, chic, yet affordable. Melanie and Angela are a great team and a well oiled machine, coming nothing short of highly rdcommended. Do pay them a visit and grant to them your patronage. In all of my 35+ years as client of A Kut Above, never have I had a negative experience, and not only do I recommend them, either Mel or Angie, I believe in them. Never anything short of knowledgeable and the premiere stylists in Forgotinia.

Melanie was incredible! She maintains an incredibly clean and COVID-safe salon. She is warm, skilled, up to date with current trends, and attentive to customers' needs!! Thank you for an awesome hair cut, Melanie!

I went there for the first time today and I can't say enough good things about Angie. She took her time and was so painstakingly diligent, spending hours perfecting exactly what I asked for. I went somewhere else in town and they didn't do what I asked for, but Angie took her time correcting it and was just as happy as I was with the result. It cost a little more than what I would have paid elsewhere, but it was so worth it. She was excellent.
