A Cut Above

I’ve been coming to this barbershop since the 90s, and every time I walk in it feels like stepping back into a place full of great memories. The atmosphere is nostalgic, the people are welcoming, and the quality of the cuts has always been top-notch. Just got another great haircut today, and it reminded me why I’ve stuck with them all these years. Consistent, professional, and a true Anchorage staple in the Midtown Mall. Highly recommend!

Me and my bf took my 4 year old son here to get his first haircut at a barbershop. I usually cut it myself but he insisted on going to a barbershop. I was nervous he was going to cry or not like it, but Theresa did an amazing job at helping him through the process. She let him touch the clippers, explained to him everything that was done. He left so happy and excited. I was so happy and thankful she was amazing with him, and put all his fears at ease. I don't think I can take him anywhere else, it was a great experience for my son, and eased a lot of anxiety as a mom.

Best haircut I’ve ever gotten given by the one guy here, but this woman gave me the worst haircut ever the second time I came. I showed several clear photos of the haircut I wanted, as it was the one I previously got and I liked it, it just grew in so it didn’t look as good anymore. She then decides to make me look like a balding 40 year old man and completely ignore the haircut that I wanted. I looked like I had been balding since second grade that’s how bad this haircut was.

Danny was professional courteous and quick cutting my hair and beard. Will be making Danny my go to Barber.

Excellent barber shop, small and simple with a friendly staff. Everyone here is very talented and really knows what they are doing. One of the few places in Anchorage I will trust with my beard!
