This place is expensive, very rough during the nail removal process, and they charge extra for everything. I came in with short, average-length natural nails, and they wanted to charge me extra just to cut about a centimeter off. That makes no sense when they already have to use a file anyway. I wasn’t asking for a different shape or anything. When they were removing my nails, they tried to take them off with their own nails instead of soaking them or gently using an e-file to remove them properly. That’s a red flag when a nail salon does that. They also seemed like they were in a hurry and rushed through the service. With all that being said, I would not go back here. I went to this nail salon around August and paid over $100 including tip. Shortly after my appointment, I started feeling irritation around my nail. And noticed it started to lift, which worsened over time not even 1 week. I eventually went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a nail infection. The medical bills ended up costing more than the service itself, which was completely unexpected and frustrating. I think my red flag should have been when the nail tech was tugging on my cuticle and I have a tremble in my hand and started to tell me to stop moving when it’s just not something I can do. For months my nails were extremely thin, damaged, and not properly trimmed or cared for when I was there even after the service of getting removed there. My dipping powder nails turned out amazing! The technician was very careful with shaping and smoothing each nail. The color looks rich and flawless. They feel strong but not too thick. I will definitely choose dip again.
