$5 Tan - Cottage Grove

Do not sign up for a monthly contract here they will never stop trying to take the money out. We cancelled August 25th 2025 it is now January 2026 and they just tried taking over $200 out of our checking account. This has happened every month since we canceled. So much wasted time on the phone and in person and being promised it won’t happen again. They caused countless over drafts. Also there beds are all old and out of date. Bulbs don’t work. Horrible experience here!!!!

I'm so grateful for a salon that offers Red Light Therapy near me in Cottage Grove! It helps me so much with many health issues. I come here just about every day and I would HIGHLY recommend $5 TAN to everyone! The manager Becky is SO kind and helpful and knowledgeable... service is amazing and timely every time! Also the beds are all great and it is ALWAYS SO CLEAN and well maintained. All of the staff here are friendly and welcoming, helpful and on top of their game! I couldn't recommend this place enough!!!🙌❤️

The salon itself is great, (clean and welcoming) but the gentleman that was working at this time not so much. I think he forgot he is "working" and maybe what his job functions entail...He seem almost put off at any questions and couldn't be bothered. Then selling any products nothing was explained or told how much things were. I would like to add that I have been going to this salon on and off for years and never had any issues, staff was always helpful and never tried selling products etc. This time was very different and when I asked about the price and changing it I was told all sales finally, yet I wasn't offered anything different from the beginning. Everyone has bad days, try and not bringing to your job.

I can’t make a big enough deal about how AMAZING Sophia was. She immediately welcomed me when I arrived. She was courteous, engaging and took the time to explain the ins and outs of your services to a newbie like me. I will without a doubt be a return customer based off the experience I had with Sophia today. Thanks again!

I needed to even my tan out and hadn’t tanned in quite some time. Previously, this location had been severely lacking. I was greeted by the new manager and was pleasantly surprised. He was/is friendly, and had/has a very deep product knowledge. He was not pushy with products, but offered suggestions. The manager as well as staff that he trains seem to be very focused on providing an exceptional customer experience! Unfortunately, it has become necessary to cancel my membership. But after this great experience, when the time comes, I will definitely be back. Thank you for such a great experience! Wishing continued success!
