301 Barbershop

Can’t say enough good things about 301’ Barber Shop as a first time customer. Walked in on a Saturday and 7 out of 8 chairs were full — and for good reason. This place is buzzing with talent and energy. Despite being one barber short on their busiest day of the week, I was warmly greeted by three different barbers who assured me I’d be taken care of. Sure enough, they squeezed me in and had me out the door with a fresh cut in under an hour. Alan B gave an exceptional high and tight — crisp, clean, and exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere? Just awesome. Great music, smiling faces, and a vibe that’s equal parts Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Sarah cut my son’s hair today. She’s awesome and takes the time to cut it just right. We’ve had almost all the barbers in this shop, and they’re all great. Our sons are teens, but we love to see the younger kids playing with the toys the shop keeps in the waiting area. Very kid-friendly.

Great people, great haircuts. Always a friendly experience, and the staff are more than accommodating, from trying to squeeze me in as a walk-in to getting the cut I’m looking for and making adjustments. They can get pretty busy, so if you have a special request or want to feel a new cut out, I would highly recommend an appointment, as time can get pretty short if you don’t reserve it. I’ve never felt rushed though. Great place for kids’ cuts, and they do great work even when they won’t hold still. Great beard work too!

I walked in around 1:15 on a Friday as I was looking to make a change and try a new barbershop. Alan acknowledged me coming in and asked me to seat and there were a couple of barbers wrapping up soon that could help me. Both barbers finished up within 10 minutes of me arriving and went to the back. Alan asked one of them to help me and I was ignored to grab someone else who had walked in behind me. I would have stayed to wait for Alan but he had another appointment. Pretty disappointing because I wanted to support local. If someone were to try here, I would recommend an appointment instead of walking in. Going to give 2 stars instead of 1 because Alan seemed like a nice guy who wanted to help me.

I have known Scott forever. Literally since high school. I love the guy. Great place and great service and great friend. Can't find that anu where.
