I had the worst experience ever in a nail salon. Don’t go there. I came for dipping powder.First the lady started putting the wrong color and she got mad because I asked her to change. After, she stared gaslighting me when I said it wasn’t well done. Then she got mad again because I told her I didn’t like it. All of a sudden she left me with unfinished dirty nails without telling me if she was done. Only to rush to another customer who came after me. She continued by giving me side eyes while working on another pedicure, trying to intimidate me from talking. Her colleague tried to fix it but it really change anything. BEWARE!! Should’ve listened to bad the reviews. Complete waste of time and money. I was the only person in here on a Tuesday night around 6 pm. 3 workers. 1 who immediately jumped into trying to give me a massage before I could even settle in the chair, the nail tech was incredibly lazy and did and awful charge I’ve also reported this business to consumer protection for adding a cc/debit surcharge which is 100% illegal.

Worst place ever! Stay away!!!!!! I recently visited as I was in nyc and it was my first time there. Never experienced an extremely bad experience before, they did a very poor job and on top there was no one to else there besides me. I asked to get powdered gel. The staff member seemed pissed as she wanted me to get something more expensive and toes done. Tried upselling me to a more expensive treatment- doing acrylic tips than focusing on my original request. To make matters worse, while working on my nails, the technician and another employee spoke in their native language, making me feel uncomfortable and excluded. So.. they get ya be careful. A small massage adds on $10-$30 and they ask u after they start. My gel nails have already begun to lift after 2 days. What was supposed to be 50 per person turned out to be 87. When trimming my cuticles they didn't soak them first and didn't clean under my nails. Don't do it.

Love my nails from 188 Nails Salon! The cat eye design came out so pretty and the staff are super nice, patient, and professional. Definitely my go-to spot!
