Parking in Manitou Springs absolutely SUCKS. There used to be a couple free areas to park for free. But now, they're fee based. All the parking in this tourist-trap town is fee based. And at that, two and a half hours for us, cost $6.50. And don't even think about doing the Incline. It'll set you back at a minimum, $30. In all transparency, I have no problem paying for parking. It's a good revenue stream for a town to help pay for civil projects. But the exorbitant rates that Manitou charges are opportunistic. Skip the town, unless you want T-shirts and taffy and stay in Colorado Springs.
