Popped in on a random weekday after a morning walk in Central Park + was glad to have some decent manicurists available. Spent about 1 hour getting a regular manipedi at reasonable prices ($42+ tax + 20% tip, roughly amounted to $52 which is affordable for UWS)

Nails not painted well (photo attached). Woman working put a different/higher amount than I had stated as the tip on my card, thinking I wouldn't notice. Will not be back.

Beware! This nail salon interior including walls of the facility and nail products are beyond unsanitary - filth! Interior of the facility: Nail tables and chair/arms are beyond filthy - sticky Nail Products: BEWARE - "any" nail polish is "old and dried" on actual bottle. I brought this to the nail attendant who was applying the nail polish and did not do anything to address my concern! I had to return to the nail salon 3 times in 24 hours to correct the nail application. Only to purchase my own nail polish to be applied, the third time. Pedicure area: Chairs are beyond filthy - foot basin - not cleaned! Beware - a risk to your feet, if used. Wax room - there are stains and filthy hand/foot prints on the walls. Overall an ok experience, but I found the service with Emily to be curt and brusque. She was unfriendly and when I paid (before she did the polish) I didn’t add a tip on my credit card, and I was rudely asked if I was going to pay a tip on the spot. I explained I would, in cash, after my nails dried, and she just grunted. Later while I was waiting for my friends to finish their service she approached me again about a tip. Even though the place wasn’t crowded I felt that the service was very rushed and rude. The space was nice - Very bright clean place with massage chairs, and they do paraffin for your heels as part of the mani/ pedi. It’s more expensive than average - $37 on weekends- and they push the “package” with massage pretty hard. If the service were better I would go back but after

The negative reviews are true. I have gone to this place twice for a pedicure and acrylic fill-in. First of all, the manicurist pushed my cuticles down with her finger nails and made me bleed. No gloves mind you. Then, after 5 days I started to lose nails. When I went to get them replaced they told me they were charging extra for every nail that fell off. I was confused because I was losing nails due to their terrible work and was giving them an opportunity to correct it. On top of this, after that fill-in appointment all of my nails were different shapes and lengths upon leaving the salon. Normally I would speak up, but the manicurist had taken 3 hours to do my nails already and I had to go to work.
