Zen the Salon

I recently got married, and my bridesmaids and I went here to get our hair done. I also went for a trial about a moth before. Our hair turned out beautifully and lasted all day. It was a great experience at the salon, very relaxing, we were even set up with a light mimosa brunch. I would highly recommend this salon for any bridal party!

I have gotten my hair cut and colored here twice now and I have never been disappointed with the results. I've tried several other salons before discovering this place and Zen is definitely in the lead by far. The staff is so personable, as soon as you walk in they offer you something to drink such as tea, wine, coffee or water. My stylist both times was Meredith Welfel, and she did an excellent job at listening to what it was I wanted and bringing it to life. Both times I left the salon looking exactly the way I hoped to when I walked in. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Shandon is very talented. She uses organic color for my hair and she does styling and cuts for me and my family. She’s very sweet. A delight to have.

I see Meredith to cut and color my hair. She does a great job coloring gray hair, and I never see an outgrow line. She listens to what you want, she will ask questions, and give suggestions. I highly recommend her.

I will never go back. The salon advertised a free cut and color for new clients, I called and discussed this with the stylist, who was the one that cut my hair, while booking an appointment for the next day. When I went in to get my hair cut she was half way through my hair when she told me it was only a 20% discount for new clients. With half of my head shaved and needing to go to work in an hour I had to agree to this bait and switch technique. My "Free Haircut" ended up costing me an arm and a leg for an average hair cut that I could have gotten at any cost cutters at a much better deal.
