I came in for a scheduled blow-dry appointment and arrived on time, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The salon was clearly overbooked, and I had to wait 10 minutes just for a wash bowl to become available. There was also very limited space for clients to wait, which made the delay even more uncomfortable. By the time a bowl opened up, nearly 15 minutes of a 45-minute appointment had already passed. When a bowl finally became available, it felt rushed, with stylists having to quickly claim stations as they opened. I also noticed that neither the chair nor the bowl was wiped down or cleaned between clients. During the service, I was offered a keratin conditioning treatment, which I later realized cost $35. I was referred here by my sister and don't live very close. The drive was definitely worth it to see Evelyn. She was super helpful making sure I got the best results and giving great tips. Will definitely come back to see her for my next cut and color. The salon is also super super cute and the part of shampoo bowl where you lean your head back into the bowl was the most comfortable out of all the places I have gone too which is so nice because they usually are so uncomfortable.

I was recommended this place by a friend and was really disappointed. I came in for a gloss and was never told that it didn’t include a blow dry. There was constant miscommunication and even confusion about which stylist I was supposed to be seeing, which made the whole visit feel unorganized. Without explaining the cost upfront, they suddenly booked me with another stylist just for the blow dry. To make matters worse, the blow dry completely fell apart within 15 minutes of getting home. For the price I paid, the service was absolutely not worth it. There are plenty of better salons in the area that treat you like a person instead of just another number.

I went to Zazu Salon with my daughter for her first hairdo, and the experience was even better than expected. The stylist was super patient and really gentle—my daughter felt comfortable the whole time. I was impressed by how many hair styles, kid-friendly cuts, and color options they had; the nail spa and wash-&-blow-dry setup looked amazing too. We didn’t settle on anything permanent this time, but we’ll definitely come back when she’s ready. Highly recommend for parents planning a special first hair appointment.
