I wanted to like this salon and become a regular, but they turned my hair into straw on the second visit. I didn't complain because the stylist and the owner made it clear that they didn't care. I've never written about this experience because of my surprise and disappointment. I'm writing about it today to warn others of the owner's disinterest in having clients with 4c hair.

My rollers were done very sloppy, the lady was upset I was told my hair will cost $45 and wanted me to pay $50. She blew out my hair and did a little bit of the flat iron yet my ends still looked like crap, the side bangs I have were frizzy. The whole vibe and atmosphere was off!!! The lady who did my hair is the second chair she has blonde hair, never again! Another thing that pissed me off she tried detangling my hair dry before even adding any shampoo or anything, I asked her to wet it first before detangling and she straight up told me NO. Only reason I stayed was bc I had to be at work in 2hrs and needed my hair done before a wedding ..side note: I have curly thick Puerto Rican and Dominican hair YOU DO NOT DETANGLE CURLY HAIR DRY!

RIPPED through my hair with a comb to detangle it. I lost so much hair & my hair is already thin to begin with. She proceeded to tell me she’s concerned because I lost a lot of hair after she just broke it all off with a comb!? Just to recommend me to but some oil the shop sells. I proceeded to tell her I just took braids out of my head & she said I should’ve told her so she can use oil? As a stylist you should be able to SEE my hair needs to be detangled why did I have to inform you? My hair is see through now please save your $ & time. Worst experience of my life & ill be spending the next year trying to grow it back. Please do not go here. My hair type is also 3c/4a … fairly manageable with the right product and procedures.
