I was excited when I found a black owned business in my neighborhood, unfortunately I will never step foot in here again!! The women at the register was on the phone and extremely rude and dismissive. Employees like this make it difficult to support black businesses and this is coming from a black business owner as well. Truly disappointed and as a hairstylist this is a store I will never ever refer. Please teach employees customer service skills because it’s these same employees that leave an effect on consumers like me.

Find more punctual barbers to work in your shop. My boyfriend comes here once a month for a shape up & fade. Joseph has been his barber for over a year and while his work is decent, he takes double the time to complete a cut that can be done in less than half hour. It has become increasingly annoying to book with him when he constantly comes in late. He doesn’t seem to respect anyone’s time but his own and it’s outright ridiculous. There should be no reason why there’s always at least a half hour wait before he comes to the shop and when he does walk in, there’s no sense of urgency to get to his clients. People have lives and plans outside his schedule and he needs to do a better job accommodating his clients when he clearly can’t get to the shop at the time frames he communicates to them.

I had the privilege of meeting the owner of this family owned business. I live in the neighborhood so it is nice to see that it is the first Black owned beauty supply store that I've seen. I have definitely spread the word about the warm environment of the store.

Black-owned beauty supply with a barbershop and hair salon. Great concept. This time, I went in for some hair dye & ended up buying several other things including a shower cap designed for long braids/locs. Will continue to patronize.

When the owner left his previous shop to start his own business, I followed him and never looked back. At Yuber you get professionalism, great service, great products, and warmth. I highly recommend them whether you need a barber, a salon, or just to shop.
