It was a really painfull service. Let me tell you my reasons and why I’m saying this. 1. I ask more than 2 times and they said that it was going to be 50 for acrylic (only acrylic, no design or gel color, only acrylic with top coat) and they charge $71. 2. When the service started I said that I have sensible nails, thinking that the person that did my nails was going to be gentle. He started peeling off the acrylic on four of my nails with a spatula, damaging them, he literally broke them. It hurt so much that tears came to my eyes, and I told him several times that it hurt, and when I tried to pull my hand away because of the pain, he held it tightly. 3. If you ever been serviced by Kathy then you know this is not her normal work. I been a customer for YEARS from when they was down by hungry howies. I came for a simple polish change and this is what was done. Very much disappointed. Even the customer service was poor, i’m not sure if it’s due to me not wanting a pedicure or a fill but $30 for this is diabolical.

Went on Saturday 8/9, to get a fill in. Today is Tuesday, 8/12 and my nail has already popped off. The person barely took any care to make sure they come out nice. The service was very rushed. My nails are all uneven and very thick on some nails. I wanted a manicure for my daughter and all the tech did was paint her nails. Her polish was pealing off the same day. Very disappointed in the service I received. Won’t be going back.

I made an appointment at TY Nails for 6:30 PM and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I arrived, my nail tech was still working on another client and I was told it would only be about a 10-minute wait. I ended up waiting about 45 minutes before being seen. Because of the delay, I no longer had enough time for the full service I booked and was only able to get my nails painted before I had to leave. I do want to be fair and note that my nail tech was not aware he had an appointment scheduled at that time, so he is not to blame. He was kind and professional once I was in the chair. Today was my first time going to this place because I’m new in the area. The salon itself has a beautiful aesthetic and it offers multiple services. Therefore very convenient. The nail tech who fid my pedicure was inexperienced which the service offered was not worth the price of the service. As a licensed full specialist, I have a list of things that were done incorrectly. Even the polishing of the nails was very novice. Nobody was supervising her or even asking if the service was satisfactory.I understand techs have to start somehow but I consider unfair that as a customer I have to pay full price for a service I could have done at home.
