Elias is a pro! I went in a couple months ago with an uneven grown out shaved head and he guided me towards a great cut. My hair still looks great after a couple months of growing. Super friendly and professional :)

I love going to Flux as it’s a Covid-conscious queer salon that I feel super comfortable at. Eli and Phoenix are extremely kind and I’ve never felt more comfortable at a salon. Phoenix gives me the most beautiful blowouts I’ve ever had, I always leave feeling gorgeous.

I wish I didn’t have to write this, but my haircut was completely botched. Elias cut my hair far shorter than anything we agreed on. I asked for a simple trim in the back to blend my layers and add volume to my curls, while keeping my face-framing pieces. I said I was okay with losing a bit of length — not several inches. I never asked for a short cut, but that’s exactly what I walked out with. It was obvious too late that he isn’t experienced with curly hair. He took off way too much and left my layers uneven and choppy. My curls hide some of it, but the cut itself is nothing like what I asked for. Elias is a hair WIZARD! First time with a new stylist after moving and I instantly felt comfortable and confident in his chair. He took the time to do a thorough consultation, listened thoughtfully, and gave me a PERFECT cut! Not to mention what a fun environment he fosters. I feel like myself again, and I can’t stop smiling at my reflection in the mirror! Truly cannot recommend highly enough.
