LeShaun is truly the best! Her hands move SO fast and my hair always comes out flawless. She always finds a way to get me in, even with her busy schedule, and my crazy hours!! The atmosphere in her shop is beautiful, peaceful, and always clean. I always leave with my grid (which means so much to me) looking amazing. I get so many compliments on my Sister Locs, she colors them and guides me with keeping them strong!! She sells everything that I need in house to keep them healthy & flourishing in between my 4-6 weeks reties!! She is so professional, sweet and very knowledgeable…I Highly recommend YNI! 💛✨

I almost didn’t make this review because I usually don’t care to make reviews that aren’t good ones but I feel it’s helpful and necessary for other paying customers. Ok so I initially called just to confirm a couple of things and to get some clarification before booking. I called the day of to ensure availability and services. The lady I spoke with was a bit rude so right away I felt maybe I shouldn’t go here. However my options were slim seeing as how I needed service the day of. I went on the website to book an appt as she clarified over the phone that they did not take walk-in’s but that I could book over the phone for same day appt and get it soon. I did that. Reply: you did not charge me $30 for initial you guys charged be $90 so please don’t lie that just continued to look unprofessional. Your system did in fact charge me maybe you should find and correct that. Initial post: Pretty unprofessional. I came a few times and it was great. The last time, they charged me the wrong amount (lower than they should have). I didn’t know and without me knowing well after my appointment they tried to just “charge my card” without talking to me first. Thankfully I have blocks on my card for charging twice. I was able to call them within 24 hours to pay it because I didn’t know they had even tried until my bank reached out to me. I came here after I cut ifd my locs that were healthy and I had grown for several year. I had just wanted a break feom the locs and then decided I had long enough break lol. So I had starter locs. One thing I will say is this establishment is clean! And the quality depends on the stylist you use. If I had gotten sisterlocs I may have had a better experience. I also was to trusting and didn't make sure to choose the stylist based on their work I saw online. I assumed because they did brick parts only that the parts would be neat .I worked with Monique.My parts were uneven on day 1, I unfortunately let it go cause the coils were neat and I didnt want to go throuh the process and start over again. This is the the greatest place to get natural hair styled and whipped. If you're transitioning to natural as well, this is the place to be... Monique styles my hair about every 2 weeks. She is a God send with miracle fingers. I never know what style i want or need but i am always satisfied.
