What a phenomenal experience every single time we come here. My son has been going to Billy at Your Kind of Cuts for a little over two years now, and the growth I’ve seen has been incredible. We’re talking about a child who, at one point, we couldn’t even get into the chair, let alone into the shop. Fast forward two years, and now my son sits calmly, comfortable, and actually enjoys the experience. If I had to sum it up in one phrase, it would be: “Trust the process.”

My son has never sat calmly for a haircut. Since the minute we got here they approached him with care and understanding. They didn’t try to rush through the haircut or force him. He felt comfortable and happy to sit through a haircut for the first time. I’m so happy we came here!

Ricky and Billy were amazing! My grandson' sensory challenges have made haircuts unbearable. We drove about 90 mins for our appointment. They did not disappoint. They took time to get to know my grandsons and let them get comfortable at the shop, and understand our expectation. They slowly introduced my grandson to sitting in the chair and were amazing at coaching him through the haircut. There were tears but unlike previous attempts at other establishments they were able to cut his hair completely. Best of all they gave him time to play at the end and we all left happy!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My son Achilles is on the spectrum, and haircuts can be really challenging—but they make it feel effortless. He does an amazing job with Achilles, keeps him calm and comfortable, and is so patient the whole time. Honestly, Achilles doesn’t even realize he’s getting a haircut. The cut always comes out great, and the experience is stress-free. Highly recommend—especially for parents of kids with sensory sensitivities.”
