I got my hair done at Youcee recently and wasn’t happy with how it turned out, and the customer service experience with my stylist wasn’t great. My stylist was 20 minutes late to the appointment, and didn’t acknowledge her tardiness or apologize when she arrived. There was minimal conversation about the service I came for or my preferences in general. Of note, the technique utilized to sew down my wig was poor. My wig shifted 24 hours after the appointment. In addition, the stylist used a glue-like spray to secure my wig without asking if that was okay. My curls fell flat an hour after leaving the salon. I have come to this salon twice, once for a sew-in and again for a virgin relaxer and pixie cut. In both experiences, I left extremely satisfied. My closure sew-in looked absolutely seamless, and I haven't been able to stop marveling at my pixie which was cut by Lucille. The prices are fair and I will definitely return in the near future.

After searching for a hairstylist to do a closure sew in, I came across YOUCEEME. While I was impressed by the reviews and the work presented on IG, my expectations were a bit of a let down. The service I came in for was a closure sew in and it’s the first time I’m doing this style. The owner was very kind and welcoming, nothing against her character. However, during the appointment, there were periods of time where she kept stopping during my appointment which made my appointment seem a bit little longer than expected. The hair process itself with sewing everything in just felt a little rushed to me and the outcome wasn’t 100% to my liking. I did have to make some tweaks to my hair after leaving. So annoying how stylists have all these rules about lateness, cancellations, & deposits, but then have zero professionalism. I booked a wig install with youceeme. She was almost 1 hour late with no communication, and didn't acknowledge her lateness when she finally arrived. She put bleach on the knots, then went to go park her car and was gone for 20-30 min. Needless to say, the roots were an orange mess by the time she came back. They offered to have me come in again to fix it, but she just put globby black stuff to cover up the orange instead of actually dying it. I couldn’t wear the wig in public, so I ended up just throwing out the wig which cost over $300. I should have just asked for a refund.
