You & Co

I loved my experience at Salon You & Co.! My first time there was last week and I saw Rachel. Rachel talked to me about my hair type/what I wanted before she even started shampooing my hair. I was treated to a neck message and hot towel too. It helped me relax after a long day at work! My appointment was not rushed, but it was efficient. I think I was only at the salon for 30-40 minutes in total from my hair consultation to paying. I appreciate that, just as much as I appreciate the pricing. Every service is priced fairly and the service is wonderful! Not to mention the vibes in the salon are positive, welcoming, and fun. I will definitely be returning!

Back in August, I got my hair cut by Rachel. We talked about what I was looking for and came to an agreement to keep the layers long enough to still be able to put back in a ponytail or clip, she did absolutely amazing. I love the layers 😸 she said its somewhere between a shag and a butterfly cut, kind of. As I expected, this haircut brought out my natural wavy texture and volume (: I used to brush it, which caused it to be frizzy. Now, I only brush it wet in the shower. I get so many compliments on it, people asking what I do to it. Nothing! I wash it and let it air dry. I even had a person message me on Instagram asking where I get my hair cut. I will be going back for sure, and when I do, I think I want more short layers on top too. <3

I came to my appointment with an unexpected twist today for Melanie. I went from a blonde balayage and asked to go with brunette/auburn balayage and bangs for the fall. She took the time to explain what the process would entail and included me in the decision making. The way she studied my hair with every foil placed, I can tell she loves what she does. I am in love with my new hair and Melanie was just as excited! Pure excellence! Below is the before and after!

Melanie was amazing. She’s personable, and so easy to talk to. She went above and beyond to give me a great experience. My hair came out better than I expected, and she really took her time to make sure it was perfect! She was just as excited as me during the process and couldn’t wait to see how it came out - she truly loves what she does. Her salon is so carefully decorated, it’s so stylish with such a nice view. You can tell she put a lot of thought and time into it. Highly recommend!
